Are you using skipping as part of your weight loss programme?

 

Hello everyone. Regular readers of our blog will already know that skipping is proven activity for High Intensity Interval Training .


In a recent post we have also made it clear that skipping delivers a more intense workout than running

!Skipping for Slimming


What you might not be aware of is the fact Skipping4Schools is starting a major new initiative creating specialised programmes and resources for adults to use skipping as a part of their health and fitness programme to help you lose weight and maintain control*.

Over the coming months S4S will be looking to run workshops with slimming clubs and organisations up and down the country to demonstrate how regular skipping can help adults lose weight.

In addition to the clear health benefits, skipping has been proven to improve the self-esteem of shy children and is not competitive in the way that traditional team sports are as well as being a lot fun for everyone including the teachers.
