America‘s First Lady is not only a fan of skipping as a regular and effective form or high intensity exercise, but she is also willing to share a routine that she has devised to enable her to exercise when in hotel rooms.
Her routine is based on 2 minute segments of exercise followed by 30 seconds of rest and this is repeated.
Can you complete her skipping workout?
The names of the exercises are listed below and they are self -explanatory. You can click on the link below to see the exercises demonstrated.
1. Regular Skips – 2 minutes followed by 30 seconds of rest
2. High Knees- 2 minutes followed by 30 seconds of rest
3. Criss Cross - 2 minutes followed by 30 seconds of rest
4. Side to Side – 2 minutes followed by 30 seconds of rest
5. Forward and backward - 2 minutes followed by 30 seconds of rest
6. Side to Side- 2 minutes followed by 30 seconds of rest
7. Double Skips- 2 minutes followed by 30 seconds of rest
