As well as the 10,000 athletes who are coming to the UK for this year's Olympic Games, our very own Head Coach George Kubu has been invited to join a team who will be one amongst many hosting visitors to the Olympic Games to the UK.
"I'm beyond excited to be actually here for these Olympics," he said. "Although my key priority will be the welfare of our guests, I can't believe that I'll be in the same air space as these sporting heroes and legends and I hope I'll get to see some of these events too".
George is in London for the next 3 weeks and, although he's away from the gym, he'll still be training to keep his fitness levels up.
"At the moment, I'm billeted on Canary Wharf, so I'm up early and it's great running along the scenic river view for a couple of miles. I stop then, catch my breath and do some resistance training and most importantly my skipping rope comes with me. It's something I can't do without, no matter where I am."
