Welcome to our campaign to encourage healthy play in schools through skipping!

We've certainly got something to suit everyone and every budget, whether you are looking for:

• a busy and fun day in your Healthy Schools week,
• an activity for a Transition Day to help introductions and bonding,
• for a Gifted & Talented day
• even for an all-inclusive activity for a very special project such as our Skip4Life event.

Skipping with Skipping4Schools can definitely tick these boxes!

BUT we also recognise that it is as important to help build confidence in children by showing them that if they have  determination and application, then they can not only achieve the skipping challenges we set them, but they can gain confidence from learning how to apply themselves.

As part of our commitment to schools, to help them sustain the momentum started by one of our days and to create excellent value from a skipping day, we send FREE resources after one of our coaching days consisting of an 8-week Skipping Development Programme, an invitation to join our Hop to the Top virtual competition as well as our Mini Daily Challenge.

All of these resources have been designed to ensure consistent, proactive and progressive activity, benefitting the child and school alike. We like to think that children can learn how to think about and how to approach different challenges, to understand collaboration and how to make good decisions as well as evaluate their decision-making.

As the Teaching and Learning Research Programme states

"Good thinking lessons give learners opportunities to talk about thinking, to work together on it, to evaluate their thinking and to make connections within and beyond the curriculum".
