We launch our shiny, new website!

Our new website!
Our new website!

Finally, after a couple of months of development and design, we're pleased to announce our new website!

After many years of honourable service, our old website (which was a fantastic job ) has retired and made way for our new website, designed and produced by Shropshire web design firm Pixelmakers Limited.

With what started out as quite a complex set of requirements, Pixelmakers broke-down every aspect of the specification, and built a website which we hope, will last for many years.

Is there anything you'd like to see on our site? Let us know what else you'd like us to consider and what you think of our new-look site! Just email us here - we look forward to hearing from you!

"We're moving through interesting times in sports education and we wanted our new website to reflect these changes," said George Kubu, Head Coach at Skipping4Schools. "Skipping is an activity that's generally perceived as an old-fashioned and 'traditional' game for children, but we know otherwise and the new website is only the start of the update! "

"For the last few years, we've offered coaching days that have focussed on skills. We've now moved away from the mainstream of companies offering skipping days, and can offer schools a skipping day that combines the four strands of learning with skipping skills to reflect these changes in the education arena. We'll be updating our resources accordingly so that schools can capitalise on the momentum started by one of our days and benefit their children both in the playground and in the classroom. Watch this space!"

Chris Jones, MD, Pixelmakers Limited said "The website itself is based on a content managed system, allowing Skipping4Schools to edit every aspect. We wrote the whole thing from the ground upwards based on S4S's requirements.

"As with all our projects, we don't just 'do what the customer wants', but we build something which is beyond expectation. The project has been a very lengthy process as Skipping4Schools really had some exacting requirements and knew specifically what they were looking for. The result was worth it, we think, as the end product is a completely user-manageable site which should serve well for many years."
