During October, thousands of people across England are taking part in Stoptober - a new, exciting 28 day challenge to stop smoking.
It's a great time to try, with lots of free support to help you along the way, as well as knowing you're one of thousands who are all doing their best to stop smoking! And the hope is that if you can stop smoking for 28 days, then the NHS tells us that you are five times more likely to stay smokefree! imagine how liberating that will be for you, your family and your pocket!
And it might be a good time to start some gentle exercising, reminding your lungs what they should be used for! Start off with some gentle double bounces, build your stamina slowly, slowly and yes, slowly but surely you'll be skipping towards the stars! Check out some other workout ideas via the NHS site, and if you want to take up skipping as the NHS recommends, find your ideal size skipping rope here. And when you buy your own rope, why not get the family involved too? Set up some great Christmas presents for boys and girls alike with their own personalised hoody or t-shirt and a skipping rope, and we'll send you our Mini Daily Challenge to set you off on the road to fitness!
Or contact us if you've got any questions, we'd be happy to help!
